About GCT
Gnanamani College of Technology (GCT) is a private engineering institution in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, established in 2006. It operates under the Gnanamani Educational Institutions and gained autonomous status in 2023. The college's affiliate is Anna University, and it holds approvals from AICTE, along with NAAC accreditation.
The college offers a wide spectrum of academic programs, encompassing undergraduate B.E. and B.Tech degrees across diverse disciplines such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Biomedical Engineering (BME), Food Technology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, and Agricultural Engineering. In addition, GCT provides postgraduate M.E. programs with specializations in Computer Science and Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering, along with Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. Doctoral research programs are also offered in ECE, EEE, and Mechanical Engineering.
GCT has earned recognition for its academic excellence through an ‘A’ grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Furthermore, four undergraduate engineering programs—B.E. in ECE, EEE, CSE, and Mechanical Engineering—have received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.
Gnanamani College of Technology has demonstrated notable advancements in teaching and learning practices, research and consultancy activities, innovation and technology transfer, community engagement, and value-based education. The campus features well-structured academic blocks, modern computer centers, spacious lecture halls, libraries, laboratories, auditoriums, guest houses, hostels, and student centers.
