Introduction

The Department of Management Studies began its pursuit of academic excellence in 2008 with the launch of a two-year full-time MBA program affiliated with Anna University. In addition to the core curriculum prescribed by the University, the GCT MBA program offers a range of value-added courses designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills and enable informed career decision-making. The program structure integrates strong academic foundations with practical industry exposure, preparing students to emerge as future leaders in their chosen domains. Specializations are offered in Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Analytics, and Operations, subject to the availability of a minimum cohort size as determined by the Institution.

Introduction of value-added courses on Business Analytics, Digital Marketing Tools, Financial Modeling, ERP/SAP, and Communication Skills

Organization of workshops, FDPs, seminars, and webinars on emerging business trends, leadership, startup ecosystem, and corporate practices

Establishment of management laboratories such as Business Analytics Lab& Financial ModelingLabwith updated software tools

Promotion of student projects in marketing research, financial analysis, HR analytics, operations optimization, and real-world business problem solving

Industry collaboration through guest lectures, internships, MoUs, live projects, and industrial visits
