The Ph.D. program duration is generally 3 to 6 years, as per the regulations of Anna University.

Master's Degree of the University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University

A minimum of 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale in the qualifying examination.In the case of SC/ST/Person with Disability (with disability score more than 40%), 50% marks or a CGPA of 5.0 on a 10-point scale

Candidates seeking admission must possess an M.E., M.Tech., M.Pharm., or M.S. (By Research) degree in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology.

Part-time: Requires an NOC from the employer.
