Gnyanamani educational Institution has taken such marvelous initiative which is enhancing the Indian economy by creating good entrepreneurs and giving them a huge platform to perform and excel higher. Entrepreneurship development cell is established to acknowledge, motivate and to guide the students. It fosters the technocrat; guide them to become an entrepreneur, who will create his significant mark on future. In line with the mission of Make in India we are contributing to make our country proud. To motivate the young aspirations to become entrepreneurs, the facilities, guidance is provided and their ideas are nurtured by connecting them to the business incubation center in our institute. The motto of cell is not to create the entrepreneurs for creating the wealth only but also the reason is to enhance their neighborhood by creating jobs and contributing to the growth of nation.
About Us
The engineers should not become just the employees but, they should become good employer. Keeping this target in mind with the motivation from our source of inspiration of our Chairman Dr. T Arangannal, we have started the Entrepreneurship Development Cell in the institute.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL (EDC) in educational institutions is to develop institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture in Science & Technology students and to foster entrepreneurship for generation of wealth and employment. The EDCs are established in our institution, having requisite expertise and infrastructure.
Our mission is to “Nurture Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurial Culture and Business Acumen in our campus and Society”.
Objective
The main objective of this programme is to create awareness among Science & Technology students about the various facets of entrepreneurship as to become successful technopreneur / Innovator

| Awareness Generation Program | This aimed to create awareness and enthusing the youth to explore and consider entrepreneurship as an option, through various well designed modes and strategies. |
| Counselling | The act of helping the person to see things more clearly, possibly from a different view-point. This Session is a screening process, ensuring steady stream of potential entrepreneurs filtered based on the basic criteria. Counselling is conducted on one to one basis. |
| EDP Training | An Intensive and Institutionalized Training to enhance the youth that helps in converting an Idea into a structured business proposition. The selected aspirants from Counselling will be part of the training. Training happens on monthly basis. |
| Training | Intensive Training provided to aspirants on various topics like Communication, Personality Development, Personal empowerment, business pitching, business management and technicalities. It happens by monthly. |
| Visits | This is an ideal opportunity to showcase products and services to a highly targeted audience. Visits happen on quarterly once. |
| Exhibitions | Visits to industries bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in a real-life environment. It happens yearly once. |
| Meetings | In Meetings the entrepreneurs update their progress status and discuss the challenges. Meeting happens on month on month. |
| Mentoring | Mentors are usually an experienced individual who shares knowledge, experience and advice with a less experienced person. Guiding the prospects, selection of aspirants and handhold the entrepreneur. It happens on each stage. |

- EDC organized a one day seminar on 18.10.2022 at 10.00 am entitled Entrepreneurship Development Programme in Michael Faraday Hall. The Chief Guest for the function is Mr.SHRI RAJENDRAN.B, Assistant Director, MSME Development& Facilitation Office, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Coimbatore.
- Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized Project Expo 2K22 on 18.11.2022 at 10.00am to 4.00 pm at college premises.
