The training faculty highlighted the importance of Soft skills development by giving live examples and how to approach your life and work. Simply, soft skills are the effective use of interpersonal skills, and they characterize how you interact with other people in the workplace. Soft skills are the life skills, personality traits, and communication abilities in your workplace which spell success in your organization. In your workplace, these skills are essential for Problem-solving, Critical thinking, and leadership. Soft skills training enabled our students to "think out of the box" both creatively and critically. Using these skills, students will be able to weigh up their options and make informed decisions, making them more likely to achieve their desired career.
Language and Communication Skills
Gnanamani College of Technology has well-trained faculty members to develop students' knowledge in Language and communication skills. The Training and English Department in GCT functions effectively and conducts Communication Skill Development Training for the first-year students. Training is focused on the four major components of language and communication, i.e., LSRW: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
Life Skills
Yoga is a simple word that means a union between two elements, such as the mind and the body. It is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines. The yoga and meditation activities improve one's flexibility, muscle strength, and respiration. And also, it protects from injury. Physical Fitness can maintain good health and improve the overall quality of life. Physical activity increases muscle strength, bone density, flexibility, and stability.
