Institution's Innovation Council
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is a body formed in higher education institutions to systematically promote innovation, ideation, incubation, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. It is implemented through the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC).
In our institute, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IC201912624) was established, as per the norms of the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Government of India, during the academic calendar year 2018-19.
- To emerge as a globally recognized technical institution to produce ethical engineers, researchers, administrators and entrepreneurs
- To provide state-of-the-art infrastructure to create an effective learning environment for students
- To collaborate with leading industries and academia to empower students to meet global standards
- To foster an enterprising environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurial activities among students

Promote Innovation Culture in campuses.

Encourage students to develop new ideas and start-ups.

Organize innovation activities such as: Hackathons, Idea competitions, Workshops on entrepreneurship.

Support prototype development and product design.

Connect students with mentors, investors, and incubators.

During the academic year 2023-2024, the institution conducted 109 activities under the Institution’s Innovation Council and maintained its 4-Star rating.
In the academic year 2022-2023, a total of 94 activities were organized, leading to the institution being awarded a 4-Star rating by the Institution’s Innovation Council.
During the academic year 2021-2022, the institution significantly increased its innovation initiatives by organizing 45 activities, which resulted in achieving a 3-Star rating from the Institution’s Innovation Council.
In the academic year 2020-2021, 7 activities were conducted through the Institution’s Innovation Council, and the institution received a 1-Star rating
